ASP invites you to a transformative, hands-on workshop led by award-winning fine art photographer and digital artist Kenzie Hunter. Over two immersive days, discover unconventional techniques that blend photography, mixed media, and digital processes to push your creative boundaries and deepen your visual storytelling.

What to Expect
Participants will explore a holistic approach across both days:

Day One – Creating the Vision

Engage with the foundational principles of purpose, emotion, composition, color, and storytelling
Learn how to conceptualize powerful imagery and plan for cohesion
Build sets, props, and elements using materials like clay, foam, fabric, resin, silicone molds, and more
Explore lighting strategies—angle, trajectory, integration—to reduce reliance on heavy post production
Prepare your layout and pipeline in anticipation of the editing and embellishment stage

Day Two – Post-Processing & Embellishment

Dive into Photoshop techniques for realism, depth, and subtle surrealism—even in work infused with personal challenges like aphantasia
Master blend modes and compositing approaches to simulate authentic light behavior
Explore mixed-media methods: hand-applied embellishments using oil, acrylic, water-soluble media, chalks, pencils, projection, print overlays
Learn finishing techniques: sealants, gel textures, brushwork, layering, and integrating physical media with digital foundations
